PALMDALE, Calif. – A person was struck by a freight train this evening in Palmdale, according to authorities.
Deputies and fire department personnel responded to the scene around 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of E. Palmdale Blvd. and 6th Street East.
The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital in unknown condition.
