SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle early this morning, according to authorities.
Authorities responded to a call about 12:30 a.m. in the 27500 block of Sierra Highway near Soledad Canyon Road and found a person deceased after being hit by a car.
The driver remained at the scene with their car showing heavy damage to the bumper and windshield.
The identification of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
