I saw where you posted on Twitter that Asm. Reggie Jones-Sawyer was going to be at a protest in response to the shooting of Anthony Lowe by Huntington Park police officers.
Let’s be clear. Why hasn’t he protested other Black people either shot and/or killed by police during his re-election a few years ago? We not talking about legislation, we talking about boots on the ground protesting like did Saturday?
It’s believed he’s gonna run for Los Angeles City Council District 10 and must be using this horrible tragedy to promote himself considering police brutality is a hot-button topic, specifically in LA as activists continue to battle over the LAPD.
And why do politicians keep showing at these events “camera ready”?
