Dear 2UrbanGirls,
There have been gang fights ALL day here at Inglewood High School and something needs to be done.
One in the 11 a.m. hour; a kid got on campus and had a knife, and pulled it out during that fight.
Despite the presence of the entire IUSD PD (we currently have 1.5 school police) and more safety aides, as well as the new Superintendent Jam Morris, and other district higher-ups, there have since been three copycat fights, including one in the main office.
Word is there will be stuff going down after school.
HELP!!!

Hmm, it’s almost like cops don’t prevent crime 🤔maybe that money needs to be invested into gang PREVENTION programs to get to the ROOT of the issues
As a former student of Inglewood High School I can tell you that nothing has changed. Your best tool is expulsion. Get these kids out of the school and into a trade school program. Protect the students that want to learn.
Lets be real, some of these “Kids” have three to four generations of GANGSTERDUM. It is their religion and their upbringing that has been entrenched in them. Lets get them on a patch to learn a trade instead of making them attend a school they do not with to be in.
As a former student of Inglewood High School I can tell you that nothing has changed. It is time to hold our corrupt Mayor and our local government officials accountable. There is no real investment into our schools or into community programs. They prioritize and cater to corporate interests and the money that comes from the stadiums. Have our schools, our streets/infrastructure or crime stats improved under their watch or since all of these stadiums decided to make Inglewood their cash cow? Sending football players to visit the kids at our schools is nice and all, but our community needs real change and investment. This won’t ever happen under our current corrupt and sorry excuse for a mayor.
