Former President Jimmy Carter has entered hospice care.
The Carter Center, in a statement issued Saturday, said that the 98-year-old Carter has “decided to spend his remaining time at home with his family and receive hospice care instead of additional medical intervention.”
The center said the decision was made after “a series of short hospital stays.”
