LAKEWOOD, Calif. – A man is in custody after being found sleeping with a gun on his lap in a fast food restaurant drive-thru, according to authorities.
Deputies responded to a call about 12:30 a.m. of a man with a gun in the drive-thru in the 5700 block of Lakewood Blvd.
Deputies arrived at Jack in the Box and found the man asleep with a gun on his lap.
Deputies made several attempts to contact the man which were unsuccessful. They eventually approached the car and were able to make contact through an open car window.
The man was taken into custody without incident.
