50 Cent has settled his lawsuit with The Shade Room after suing the blog and a plastic surgeon for sharing a picture of him he claimed implied he underwent penis enhancement surgery.
The sum he received was not disclosed despite his initial filing seeking “millions” of dollars from the blog who shared a post to their nearly 30 million followers suggesting he underwent the surgery.
The Queens rapper filed against the site and the owner of Miami-based Perfection Plastic Surgery, Angela Kogan, last year.
The Shade Room has not issued an apology and Kogan is arguing that he should have “known” he wasn’t just posing for a photo with a fan.
The filing argues the photo is with Kogan in her professional attire and in her office at the time photo was taken and that the caption used on The Shade Room blog insinuated he received services from Kogan.
His lawyer previously said: ‘Jackson never had such a sexual enhancement procedure, he has never received plastic surgery from defendants, and he never consented to the commercialization and publication of the Photo.’
