LOS ANGELES – A 17-year-old high school student who may have overdosed was taken to a hospital Friday, according to authorities and a broadcast report.
Officers were sent to Sherman Oaks Center for Enriched Studies shortly after 9 a.m. on a report of a possible overdose, according to the Los Angeles Police Department, which reported that the case was being handled by the Los Angeles School Police Department.
A spokesperson for the LASPD was not immediately available.
Paramedics sent to the location on a report of a “medical incident” took an approximately 17-year-old boy to a hospital in unknown condition, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
