WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – Sheriff’s deputy’s pursuit of a stolen vehicle began in West Hollywood and ended on a Compton freeway, according to authorities.

The pursuit came to an end when the suspect driving the stolen vehicle lost control on the 91 freeway after deputies deployed spike strips that deflated two of the vehicle’s tires.
The pursuit began in the city of West Hollywood and after deputies attempted to pull the car over, the driver fled onto the 101 freeway before heading southbound onto the 110 freeway.
The pursuit continued before ending at the eastbound Alameda Street exit off the 91 freeway.
The suspect is now in custody awaiting charges.
