LOS ANGELES – A motorcyclist died Saturday evening in a collision with a vehicle while speeding through an intersection in the Hyde Park area of Los Angeles.
The crash was reported at 8:22 p.m. on West Boulevard at 60th Street, according to Los Angeles Police Department Lt. Letisia Ruiz.
The motorcyclist was southbound on West Boulevard at a high rate of speed when it collided with the northbound vehicle that was making a turn in the intersection, Ruiz said.
The man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene, she said. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
