LOS ANGELES – A teen has died after being involved in a two-vehicle crash in the South Los Angeles area, while his mother and sister remain in the hospital recovering.
Debbie Amaya, the mother is in the ICU along with her 2-year-old toddler. According to the Gofundme set up by her brother, her daughter only suffered minor injuries.
Her son Chris, 13, was tragically killed.
“Just as important is the devastation to the husband, who is completely heartbroken, but was at work during the incident. This family is completely shattered, leaving the rest of the family (us) to help pick up the pieces,” said Ivan Jones.
