HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – A player with the Los Angeles Lakers, and his trainer, were involved in a late-night traffic stop in Hollywood, according to authorities.
Laker Dennis Schroder and his trainer were stopped by LAPD Central division officers in Hollywood at Gower and Franklin this evening around Midnight.
LAPD began following the sprinter van they were traveling in after it came back “cold plated” when officers ran the license plate.
LAPD stated off camera that the registration was expired over one year. Dennis Schroder and his trainer who was driving the van were both detained by officers at the Arco station. They were subsequently issued a citation and released.
