INGLEWOOD (2UrbanGirls) – Authorities identified a man found shot to death in Inglewood, on Jan. 20.
Inglewood police officers were dispatched around 3:00 p.m. last Friday to the intersection near 79th Street and Van Ness and found a body in front of the residence.
Anthony Soloc, 50, of an unknown city, was pronounced dead at the scene from a single gunshot wound to the head. Neighbors report the shooting occurring around 5:00 a.m.
An hour earlier, at around 4:00 a.m. Inglewood police were first alerted to a shooting at nearby Darby Park.
IPD has made no public statements about whether the two incidents are connected.
The circumstances of the shooting remain under investigation.
