LOS ANGELES – At least one person was killed in a shooting Wednesday evening in South Los Angeles.
The shooting was reported at 8:35 p.m. on Avalon Boulevard at Imperial Highway.
Responding officers arrived on the scene of a ‘shots fired’ call and found one male and one female victim struck by gunfire in front of a Pizza Hut.
The deceased victim, a 23-year-old male, suffered from multiple gunshots from different firearms.
The suspects were described as four males who fired from a newer-model silver SUV described as a possible Jaguar.
It is unclear if the victims were patrons of the business, but the front window of the business was also shot out.
A canopy was requested as the crime scene investigation began.
