LOS ANGELES – A man was found shot to death outside of the Southwest division LAPD station Dec. 29, according to authorities.

The man, believed to be in his 40’s, was discovered by officers by a back gate to the station around 11:45 p.m.
Officers returning to the station noticed the victim in the roadway and immediately called LAFD to the location.
The victim was found on Denker Ave just south of W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. LAFD responded and video from the scene shows them attempting life-saving measures that were unsuccessful and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. No suspect information is available at this time.
