HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. – A man was fatally shot in Huntington Beach, and an investigation was underway Tuesday.
Officers went to the 5200 block of Tasman Drive at about 8 p.m. Monday on a report of possible shots fired, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.
“On arrival, officers located an unresponsive adult male with a gunshot wound,” police said in a statement. “The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.”
Information on the man’s identity was not immediately available.
“The suspect is unidentified and remains at large,” police said. “The investigation into motive and circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation; however, during the preliminary investigation, detectives have reason to believe there is no threat to the public and that this was an isolated incident.”
