PORTER RANCH, Calif. – A 46-year-old man who was killed when he crashed his SUV into two poles on a Porter Ranch street was identified by county authorities Tuesday.
The crash occurred at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday in the 18500 block of Rinaldi Street around Darby Avenue, according to Officer A. Delatorre of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
Tigran Balasanyan was identified by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office as the victim in the crash. His city of residency was not immediately known.
Balasanyan was driving westbound on Rinaldi Street when he crashed into a telephone pole, Delatorre said. He kept moving westbound and crashed into a large metal pole.
Balasanyan was pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle was a Jeep, as shown in news video.
