NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif.- One person was killed Wednesday evening after a vehicle drove off the Hollywood (170) Freeway in North Hollywood, struck a tree and rolled over.
Officers from the California Highway Patrol responded at approximately 10:01 p.m. to the connector road from the Hollywood Freeway to the eastbound Ventura (134) Freeway where they found the vehicle had rolled down the freeway embankment after hitting the tree.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The CHP issued a SigAlert and closed the connector road while they conducted their investigation.
