These politicians will literally lie to your face won’t they?
West Basin director Harold Williams is running for re-election in Carson and Palos Verdes. He put out a mailer that says “He has never raised your water rates and he never will”.
What a crock.
Williams never met a water rate hike he didn’t like! He voted to increase our water rates every year he’s been on the board.
That’s eight! Eight times he voted to raise our water rates. The next increase takes effect Jan 1, 2023.
Do you think he’s going to do anything different?
Where was he standing up for his community? Especially Carson where he lives when prices keep going up? Instead he caters to rich Palos Verdes and lies to us. Shameless and shameful. Typical politician that will say anything to get elected thinking we don’t pay attention.

Sounds familiar. I remember mentioning it at a council meeting . At the time I think everyone on the council was a sr. citizen. They were probably the first one to apply for the discount. Now they want us to vote for it while they give themselves raises .
