Disneyland Resort has announced the return of two fan favorites at Disney California Adventure Park in early 2023.
The Lunar New Year celebration will take place from Jan. 20 through Feb. 15, 2023, and the Disney California Food & Wine Festival will run from March 3 through April 25, 2023.
Lunar New Year (Jan. 20-Feb. 15, 2023): In 2023, celebrate the Year of the Rabbit, as well as the Year of the Cat (in recognition of the Vietnamese zodiac calendar) at the Lunar New Year celebration at Disney California Adventure park.
Highlights of the Lunar New Year celebration includes: the return of the vibrant “Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession”, the addition of two new Lunar New Year Marketplaces, the nighttime water show, “Hurry Home – Lunar New Year Celebration” (presented prior to “World of Color”), festival arts and crafts, and Disney characters such as Mulan, Mushu, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in festive attire.
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival (March 3-April 25, 2023): This foodie favorite festival features the best of what California has to offer across 12 festival marketplaces, family-friendly entertainment, and even more festival-inspired dishes at select restaurants in Downtown Disney District. Guests of all ages will also enjoy crafts, complimentary weekend culinary demonstrations, and artist events and signings.
Plus, Soarin’ Over California will return for a limited time during the festival.
