WILLOWBROOK, Calif. – A female pedestrian was killed when she was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in an unincorporated area of Willowbrook, authorities said Saturday.
The crash was reported at 11:51 p.m. Friday and officers from the California Highway Patrol responded to East El Segundo Boulevard and South Willowbrook Avenue, where they found the woman.
It was unclear where on the roadway the woman was when she was struck.
Elise Kelley, 34, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the coroner’s office.
She was possibly homeless.
The vehicle’s driver did not stop, Kimball said.
A description of the vehicle was not available.
