NORTHRIDGE, Calif. – The victim who was killed in a possible DUI crash in Northridge that injured six others was identified by county authorities Tuesday.
Alejandro Campos, 20, was the man killed in the crash, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office.
The three-vehicle crash was reported at 7:42 p.m. Saturday on Corbin Avenue and Roscoe Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Brian Humphrey.
Campos was pronounced dead at the scene, Humphrey said.
A vehicle was overturned, said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Mike Lopez.
The preliminary investigation indicated that the crash was the result of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, Lopez said.
Campos died of blunt traumatic injuries, the coroner’s office said.
