VAN NUYS, Calif. – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a Metrolink train in Van Nuys Tuesday.
The collision was reported just before 3:30 p.m. in the area of 16161 Raymer St., near the San Diego (405) Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity was withheld pending notification of their next of kin.
The cause of the collision was under investigation.
