BEVERLY HILLS – A 20-year-old from the United Kingdom was arrested Thursday for allegedly shooting another person in Beverly Hills.
Max Alexander Whitehead was located in Santa Ana Thursday morning and placed under arrest for attempted murder in connection with the August shooting, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department.
BHPD officers were called just after 10:45 p.m. on August 15 to the 100 block of North Cañon Drive, near Beverly Cañon Gardens, on reports of the shooting and found the victim suffering from at least one non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a hospital and treated for their injuries.
Whitehead is being held on $1.08 million bail at the BHPD jail and is scheduled to appear at the Los Angeles Superior Court Airport Branch on Friday.
