Letter to the Editor: What happened to the money for Lift Up Long Beach Families

Dear 2UrbanGirls,

I keep wondering why no one is reporting what happened to the hundreds of thousands of dollars that people donated to Rex for a possible affordable housing ballot measure.

I added up the expenditures today from the donations it amounts to approx $396,993! 

Here are a few  Expenditures- 

• A donation of $20,000 to the Los Angeles Democratic Party Issues Advocacy Committee;
• Garcia’s Measure A&B. Police, fire, repair infrastructure. $20,000;
• Donation, Payment to: Strategy Group LLC Campaign Consultants.  $85,840. (They did campaigning for Obama, other big names.)

Where did the money go? As its been pointed out in your previous posts Rex always seem to directly benefit from his votes and push for “solving problems”. Follow the money because the only family “uplifting” is Richardson’s.

LBC voter
