The Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Inglewood Alumnae Chapter will host a candidates forum Oct. 25 that will feature Inglewood candidates running for mayor and council districts 1 and 2.
The forum will be held on Zoom and 2UrbanGirls encourages residents to participate by watching and reaching out to the organization to submit questions.
Voters have already begun receiving their ballots in the mail and if you remain undecided listening to the candidates in a room together could make a difference.

In conjunction with Black Prosecutors of Los Angeles, and unconfirmed partners Black Women Lawyers, and the Los Angles African American Women in Public Policy Institute ?
How nice of them to collaborate for a forum. !
Of course their collective silence re the James Butts assault on the first amendment is deafening.
It is sad that so far non of these legalish groups did not think is was “not okay” to threaten arresting someone who might disparage the city council during public comments!
Did something significant happen during the pandemic that was not carried in the headlines such as “Inglewood is no longer a part of the United States of America”?
What can we expect next? We have already had riot gear wearing police called to city hall to threaten those politely asking why the police oversight commission had not been meeting…
We have already paid for both sides of the legal case where “Butts and Co” spent tax payer dollars attempting to disallow using snippets of council meetings saying public meetings are subject to copyright! THEY ARE NOT !!
Perhaps next on the horizon we will see an item on the council agenda that the printing department will ask artists to submit contract for new currency displaying the Mayor’s image of course for the new independent state of BUTTVILLE..
Yep for evil to prosper all it takes is good people to remain silent….
what about the school board candidates?
