GARDENA, Calif. – Fire Sunday damaged an abandoned one-story commercial building in Gardena, authorities said.
Firefighters dispatched at 4:30 a.m. to the 16000 block of Normandie Avenue had the blaze out at 5:12 a.m., according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.
The abandoned building once housed the Gardena Ice Company, 16526 S. Normandie Ave., he said.
No injuries were reported and a cause of the fire was under investigation.
