COMPTON, Calif.– Compton Community College Federation of Employees (CCCFE) Local 3486, which represents the Compton College faculty members, have announced their endorsement and full support of candidates for the upcoming Nov. 8 election.
CCCFE Local 3486 has been critical over the direction of the college, and its dwindling enrollment.

Here are the faculty boards endorsements.
- Skyy D. Fisher, Area 1 (Compton, Lynwood, East Rancho Dominguez);
- Alfredo Bañuelos, Area 4 (Paramount); and
- Leticia Vasquez Wilson, Area 5 (Compton, West Rancho Dominguez, Carson)
Registered voters will start receiving vote-by-mail ballots the week of Oct. 10 and must be postmarked by Election Day, Nov. 8, in order to be counted.
Compton is expected to have polling locations available, however, the City Clerk’s office hasn’t provided any updates on the City’s website as to where those locations are.
