Embattled Los Angeles City Councilman Mark Ridley-Thomas continues to proclaim his innocence after his co-defendant plead guilty this week to bribing him in exchange for votes. His lawyer continues to vigorously defend him, even while sounding like he’s attempting to insult our intelligence.
“The plea deal the government offered Marilyn Louise Flynn makes a number of erroneous assumptions – specifically where she alleges an understanding as to what Mr. Ridley-Thomas understood or thought. Mr. Ridley-Thomas is innocent of the charges levied against him. We look forward to his day in court to clear his good name.”Galia Z. Amram

If this statement wasn’t crazy enough, they drug Tavis Smiley into the mix to defend MRT, who’s name is just as tarnished after PBS found he violated a morality clause in his contract amid sexual misconduct allegations that he was sleeping with members of his staff. Its astounding that women continue to work for him.
However, one brave women is sharing her story about her interactions with MRT and how because she wasn’t a part of his “clique” he went on a vendetta against her.

Mark Ridley-Thomas fought one woman, Daphne Bradford, with the same might he fought the 15 member Los Angeles City Council, City Attorney and City Controller with in an effort to save his political career, and legacy “It’s time for Mark to go!
Mark Ridley-Thomas is a disappointment and disgrace and should resign. He has betrayed the public’s trust for his own personal gain. I wasn’t a part of his ‘political clique and I was made to suffer financially, emotionally and mentally for months.Daphne Bradford
