this is just a bot news aggregator website you arbitrarily spice up with fake facts. here the thing was in sereno and you say “near Lincoln Hts” . and in another article u say “near DTLA ” when its lincoln hts. clear you dont know the city.
Our articles are read by people outside of the immediate area and adding “near” gives a geographical idea of the general area. When in doubt we rely on google maps to identify the area. Lincoln Heights are El Sereno are both “near” DTLA which is factually correct. It’s similar to incidents that happen in Lennox and the headline reads “near Inglewood” or an incident near Washington High School / Westmont and the heading saying “near Inglewood”.
