LAS VEGAS – An arrest has been made in the murder of Las Vegas Review journalist Jeff German who was stabbed to death in front of his home Sept. 3.
Shortly after authorities released photos of a man wearing a reflective vest and hat. German’s colleagues and the community played a crucial role in the capture of the suspect who is an elected official for Clark County and a lawyer.
The authorities received a description of a vehicle that was ultimately traced to Telles who was a subject of German’s articles. Telles lost his re-election bid due to German’s reporting.

The news caught up to Telles who arrived back at home after being questioned by authorities who had him remove his clothes at the station and towed his vehicle for further inspection. He was caught cleaning out the car in an apparent attempt to hide evidence.

He was last seen being wheeled out of his home on a stretcher after his arrest.
