The Times all but connected Karen Bass to the pending corruption trial of Mark Ridley-Thomas. If you didn’t get a chance to read it, you should. The Times endorsed both her and MRT with the same conditions present: federal scrutiny.
Instead of answering questions about her “free” masters degree from USC she caught amnesia and responded with a bunch of “i don’t know” and blamed it on her staff.

At a time when the demographics are shifting towards a more populous Latino city (and County), Karen Bass shuns Latino media by declining to attend a debate held by the top tv network in Los Angeles. On the other hand, you won’t find a single Black platform reaching out to the Caruso campaign either.
Well, 2UrbanGirls reached out to Caruso’s and got ignored, but I digress.
Univision is the NUMBER ONE broadcast network in weeknight primetime among the coveted demographics of residents between the age of 18-49.
Did Bass decline because she’s afraid Latinos will side with her opponent who are identifying more with conservative policies and values with pundits predicting they will turn full Republican in 2024?
If she has nothing to hide then she should be willing to appear before voters. The ones she expects to “see” at the polls.

Sometimes things get “lost in translation “…. ??? Who knows.
Univision is a partner for a debate with Fox 11, that both Caruso and Bass will be participating in. Its not a matter of ignoring or declining its Caruso trying to make everyone but himself look bad.
Well it looks worse for Bass being connected to the federal case against Mark Ridley-Thomas and Marilyn Flynn.
