COMPTON, Calif. – Sheriff’s detectives Monday were looking for a 78-year- old Compton man who suffers from dementia and has gone missing before.
Alvin Hall was last seen at about 4 p.m. Sunday in the 500 block of South Amantha Avenue, said Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
“Mr. Hall has a history of going missing and has previously been found at Gladys Park in Los Angeles,” Koerner said.
Hall is described as Black, 6 feet 1 inch tall, 180 pounds, bald, with brown eyes and was last seen wearing a green shirt, blue jeans and blue loafers.
He suffers from dementia, high blood pressure and diabetes and his family is concerned for his well-being, Koerner said.
Anyone with information was asked to call the Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.

I sincerely hope he is found soon. It’s too dangerous in the streets for him to be alone. He’s vulnerable. His family should consider putting him in a Memory Care facility so that he can be properly watched.
