LOS ANGELES – The Angeles County coroner’s office Sunday released the name of a motorcyclist who died in an officer involved shooting in the city of Inglewood Sept. 16.
The victim was identified as Alexis Pulido, 22.
A source within Inglewood Police Department reached out to 2UrbanGirls and described the situation as an “officer involved shooting”.
“A man attacked IPD and ripped the gun and holster from the officers belt, and was able to fire a round at officers and their partner returned fire,” said the source who is not authorized to speak on the matter.
Neighbors describe the man as appearing to be “high” and knocking on people’s doors in search of a cell phone charger.
“This is the second or third shooting in our area this week!” said the resident who declined to be identified. “One Monday at Melo’s Burgers and the other you reported on at the Lennox border. Graffiti has increased on our side of town.”

i saw the ‘RING door bell’ footage. He did not resist arrest, never harmed the police officers or anyone else and did not take the gun from them, He was purely innocent. the police officers also lied about doing CPR and told paramedics not come in.
Video footage should be available to family because he had mental health issues he didnt have to die he needed help
Inglewood officers don’t wear body cameras.
Can you share your thoughts with me on this matter. Shouldn’t there have been a press release with a man losing his life? You appear to have the only story anywhere on this topic. I might try to contact Collins or somebody at the station but not expecting them to provide anything more. And it seems they aren’t standing behind this story either or at least not by name. I guess this might be the SOP for Inglewood shootings. 2 urban girls gets the scoop but everybody is mostly left in the dark and Inglewood doesn’t investigate. Any suggestions?
The neighbors posted about the shooting on Facebook and a homeowner texted me about “police activity” not knowing it was an officer involved shooting. Sources at IPD filled in the blanks. The department can’t issue a press release unless Butts lets them.
Where the video recording. I want to see how my brother die the cops can be lying
