LOS ANGELES – Two men were fatally shot in the Westlake neighborhood of Los Angeles during what police Wednesday are saying might have been a dispute at a gathering.
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call regarding a person down at 11:10 p.m. Tuesday near Sixth Street and Westlake Boulevard and found three victims with gunshot wounds.
Police found two toddlers in a white sedan near the scene and took them into protective custody.
All three victims were taken to a hospital, where two men were pronounced dead.
The condition and gender of the third victim was not immediately known.
A woman was found in a car involved in a collision near the scene and was being questioned by police.
Podany said police are investigating the motive for the shootings.
