Inglewood let’s have a toast for sisters Leslie and LeAnn Jones who celebrated their businesses one year anniversary Aug. 21.
1010 Wine is Inglewood’s first and only Black-Owned wine bar founded by the Jones sisters.
Despite opening during the pandemic, Leslie explained the community has been very receptive and supportive of the wine bar which has grown to feature 100 wines personally sourced by the sisters.
“We are very thankful to the community for their support on our venture,” said Leslie. She also teased that new locations could be announced in the coming months.
“With the feedback and support we’ve received thus far, there are multiple inquiries under consideration to branch into other markets,” said Leslie.

The event included a brunch menu where guests were served their famous shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, potatoes, eggs, and bacon. Mimosas came with a range of options including orange juice, guava, or mango flavors.
The shrimp and grits are top tier; well seasoned and the grits were cooked just right!
DJ DoubleE-E kept the crowd hype with a good mix of music throughout the event with the crowd singing along with every song played.
If you haven’t visited 1010 Wine yet put it on your list of things to do. Perfect for girls night, date night, or “just because”, it is beautifully decorated, and staff is also welcoming and attentive. I loved how they continuously checked on guests without having to be called over.
As a long-time resident of Inglewood it is great to have such a wonderful business in our community to patronize.
Cheers Leslie and LeAnn! We wish you continued success, love, prosperity, and growth!
