Widely Respected State Assemblymember Joins Far-Reaching Coalition Endorsing McOsker for City Council
SAN PEDRO, CA — Broadening his roster of supporters in the race to represent Los Angeles’ 15th City Council District, today community leader Tim McOsker won a sought-after endorsement from California State Assemblymember Wendy Carrillo.
The announcement comes on the heels of news that McOsker also has the backing of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local 92. In making public her endorsement of Tim McOsker for LA City Council, Assemblymember Wendy Carrillo released the following statement: “I am proud to endorse Tim McOsker for LA City Council. He has proven himself as a tireless leader who fights for working families. Tim will be a bold force for good – working to expand affordable housing, create more good paying jobs, combat climate change and a voice for our most vulnerable. He has my enthusiastic support.”
Notably, in addition to recently winning the support of the Boilermakers, McOsker was endorsed by Planned Parenthood Advocacy Project Los Angeles County Action Fund (PPAP) as well as L.A. City Councilman Kevin de León and L.A. City Councilman Curren Price.
