LYNWOOD – Rail service will be suspended on the Metro C (Green) Line between the Long Beach Boulevard and Norwalk stations Friday evening through Sunday for signal system upgrades.
According to Metro, the service interruptions will begin at 9 p.m. Friday and run through the end of service Sunday.
Free bus shuttles will run between the Norwalk, Lakewood Boulevard and Long Beach Boulevard stations over the weekend. Riders are being advised to allow for extra travel time.
Train service will still be running from the Long Beach Boulevard Station to the Redondo Beach Station.
Regular service will resume Monday.
