WILLOWBROOK, Calif. – A man was killed in an apparent vehicle-to-vehicle shooting near Willowbrook, and police Wednesday sought the public’s help to solve the crime.
Carlos Hernandez, 48, of Los Angeles, died at the scene, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office reported.
Officers were called to Imperial Highway and Central Avenue, north of the eastbound Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway about 11:40 p.m. Tuesday, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
The mortally wounded man was found inside a light colored SUV, and he was pronounced dead at the scene, the Los Angeles Police Department reported. Information on his identity was not immediately available.
According to Fox 11, surveillance video shows that the victim was driving the SUV off of the 105 Freeway with a car following close behind. The suspect then pulled up close to the SUV, and several shots were fired.
