SAN PEDRO – A homicide investigation was underway Friday in San Pedro, authorities said.
Officers were sent to the 1700 block of West Seventh Street about 6:50 a.m., the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
According to Fox 11, a vehicle occupied by a gunshot victim was driven to Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center, where the person died.
The LAPD was not able to confirm that report, but said that a homicide investigation was being conducted at the Seventh Street location.
It was not immediately known where the crime occurred.
