INGLEWOOD, Calif – Local authorities are investigating a dead body allegedly found in the lake outside of SoFi Stadium.
Sources within Inglewood Police department confirmed to 2UrbanGirls a hispanic male was retrieved by Sheriff divers.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department received a call from someone who spotted a body in the water. Additional details surrounding the circumstances of the discovery were not available.
According to various reports from the scene, security cameras outside the stadium captured images of a man walking or jumping into the lake around 6 a.m., prompting the call to police.
Tarp that hung around the gated perimeter was recently removed. The site is under tight security to prevent the public from directly accessing the property. Gates remain locked with chains and limited gates open on both the Century Blvd and Prairie Ave. accessways.

The Hollywood Park site was the scene of multiple deaths during the construction of the stadium.
It is well known the surveillance cameras on the property don’t catch all areas of the nearly 233 acre campus after a football fan was found unconscious in the parking lot by the Fire Department. Same situation here with Fire personnel responding versus Inglewood police.
SoFi Stadium is the site for the 2023 College Football Championship game, 2026 World Cup, and 2028 Olympics.
