LYNWOOD – Three people were arrested at an overnight driver’s license/sobriety checkpoint in Lynwood, authorities said Saturday.
One motorist was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and two other people were arrested on suspicion of willfully failing or refusing to comply with a lawful order of a peace officer, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.
Two motorists were cited for operating a vehicle unlicensed or with a suspended/revoked license and one motorist was cited for failing to have children restrained in a child seat, as required.
The checkpoint at Imperial Highway and Jackson Avenue began at 6 p.m Friday and ended at 2 a.m. Saturday, with 208 vehicles contacted.
