LOS ANGELES – A man was shot in a drive-by shooting near the Westlake neighborhood of Los Angeles, police said Saturday.
Los Angeles Police officers were called at 1:20 a.m. to 1515 W. 11th Place east of the Harbor (110) Freeway where they learned a man was standing by himself when a car drove up and the assailant shot him several times, according to a LAPD spokeswoman.
The suspect drove away from the scene and the victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
