LOS ANGELES – A man was shot to death Monday in the Athens area of south Los Angeles.
The shooting was reported about 11:15 a.m. in the 1000 block of West 117th Street, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Information on his identity was not immediately available.
No arrests were reported, and no suspect description was released.
