COMPTON – The Sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit asked for the public’s help Tuesday to find a missing 59-year-old man diagnosed with dementia and hypertension last seen in Compton.
Lawnzel Lang was last seen about 3 a.m. Monday in the 1300 block of South Sloan Avenue, near Emerson Elementary School, according to Deputy Raquel Utley of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Lang is Black, 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs about 220 pounds, with short braided black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a multi- colored polo shirt and dark gray pants, and has “dalava” tattooed on his left arm.
Lang may have been heading toward the 800 block of North Chester Avenue in Compton or the 4200 block of Cortland Street in Lynwood when he was last seen, Utley said.
