Just read your latest and that paper shredding event is costing Inglewood taxpayers $5,000, but seeing that pandora’s box is wide open now, let’s see what’s inside.
Word is the mayor isn’t running for re-election because he believes he has a high profile job coming at the Intuit Dome with Ballmer which is why you only see Padilla campaigning because he’s running for that seat. Padilla won’t formally say so because they don’t know who is challenger(s) will be.
For District 1, George Dotson will apparently be challenged by Mari Morales (One For All) and Gloria Gray. A police department employee wanted to run but were told they would have to leave their position first, unlike the city clerk’s replacement who was allowed to run while continuing to work in city hall because her boss is severely ill.
The mayor continues to sleep with women in City Hall and the common thread is either the Louis Vuitton or Gucci bag they tote around particularly on the 1st and 9th floors.
A recent 9th floor employee was gifted 96% of her salary at retirement, which also includes annual 10% cost of living increases and lifetime medical because she gave someone the “gift of time”.
Oh. And there’s video from that day the mayor cut up at that motorcycle event. Ciao!
