INGLEWOOD – The Inglewood Claims Review Committee is scheduled to meet June 6 to discuss payment of bills related to Super Bowl LVI, a paper shredding event, and election consulting services.
The June 6 agenda includes approval of a May 23 claims review meeting despite the agenda not being publicly available on the City’s website.
The remainder of the agenda includes three invoices for printing (Continental Binder & Speciality Co.), communication technology (Communications Technology Services, LLC), and services (RJ’s Demolition and Disposal) for undisclosed amounts related to Super Bowl LVI.
Beaux Marie Designs is seeking payment for event planning services for a City sponsored paper shredding event for an undisclosed amount, and MCA Direct is seeking payment for election consulting and supplies for an undisclosed amount and no description of which election the invoices are for.
The Claims Review Committee includes City staff whose departments are requesting the invoices be paid which could be a conflict of interest as no one is questioning the validity of said invoices.
