WATTS – Authorities Monday identified a motorcyclist who was killed in a crash involving a car in the Watts area of South Los Angeles.
The crash occurred just after 6 p.m. on Saturday at Compton Avenue and Century Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Obera Washington, 65, died at the scene, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner reported. His city of residence was not known.
According to police, Washington was southbound on Compton Avenue when the driver of a northbound car turned left in front of him onto Century Boulevard.
The car’s driver remained at the scene, police said.
