LOS ANGELES – A woman was fatally shot Saturday in an unincorporated area near South Gate.
Deputies were called at 2:33 a.m. to the 2100 block of Firestone Boulevard, west of South Alameda Street where they found the woman, said Deputy Raquel Utley of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
This is the second fatal shooting near South Gate in less than 24 hours.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
There was no additional information available at this time.
