LOS ANGELES – A man was shot as he drove in the Vermont-Slauson area of Los Angeles, which caused him to crash into two other vehicles, authorities said Monday.
The shooting occurred about 10:15 p.m. Sunday at Florence Avenue and Figueroa Street, according to a dispatcher at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
Paramedics took the 31-year-old victim to a hospital where he had stable vital signs.
There was no word whether anyone was injured in the other vehicles or whether the suspect fired from a vehicle at the victim’s vehicle.
Video from the scene showed a sedan in a head-on collision with an SUV and a truck that rear-ended the SUV.
